I am choosing to use my middle name within this new experience that has been added to my life.
My professional journey has been mostly one of service in providing services for the mentally
challenged, Juveniles, and single parent women who struggled to make it in this crazy world.
However, I never thought that I would be caring for the senior citizen population; when considered as a senior citizen myself.
The senior citizen is my stepfather Donald Jackson (87), and my mother Marilyn Jackson (90).
My stepfather use to care for my mother as mom can barely walk, and now I am caring for her since my stepfather was diagnosed with colon cancer. I am also caring for him, and with these two, you always get 2 for 1…Because they are in love, and this is Donald’s Story!
